Summer reading, ENTRY ONE,Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

As from my previous experience with a Suzanne Collin´s book,Hunger Games,I was expecting another chapter of exciting and heart-racing adventures where Katniss Everdeen, the book´s main character has to bear with Mr. White´s(president and creator of the Hunger Games)hatred, and also decide between the life she wants to have, which would be next to Peeta, the village Baker´s son and her partner and survivor during the hunger games where both of them developed a protecting and loving relationship, or next to Gale, her best friend for many years who which she has always secretly loved and seen as more than a friend and with who she is planning to escape onto the woods, ofcourse accompanied from Gale´s family and Katniss´s sweet little sister,Prim and her mom.In this set,Haymitch,Katniss´s and Peeta´s previous game´s mentor also forms a really important part of their lives, you can see he still hasn´t overcome his drinking problem which started out of his experience in the ring. Katniss becomes very agitated and stressed because there are a lot of situations that worsen her agreements with Mr.White, including that he went to her house to threaten her and force her to make the public forget about revolution riots over the Capitol,he wants Katniss to make empashis on her "relationship" with Peeta and "Young Love" hoping that could probably entertain people´s minds and forget about the revolts tension. But is she doesn´s proceed as said, the president said he would make any move to threaten her loved ones, including Gale. In this precise moment Peeta and Katniss are on a tour around the 12 districts, attending to capitol parties and sharing condolences with the previous fallen tribute´s families, including Rue´s.But there has been a problem in this district because an old man followed Katniss´s previous hand sign and whistled a tone which would appear to be as the beggining tone of oppposition, and for this the old man was murdered infront of the public´s eyes to show oppression from the peace soldiers. Katniss beggins to loose it and afterwards agrees with Hyamitch and Peeta to control anything that happens infront of the public´s eye,to avoid any more problems, there are enough until now.It makes me really nervous about their situation because things are getting worse each time and this makes everyone walk through a thinner rope, but especially Mr.White, where is his patience willing to go?and how long will it take for him to take charges? Compared to the Hunger Games movie,it still surprises me how each time there is a new scene or happening that makes things more difficult and seems harder to get out of,and although it would be hard to compare both hunger games and catching fire because they are two different stages,I appreciate more the narration and details the book provides me,it helps me get a better idea of the whole story and it makes me feel almost like a witness. :)
